Just to say: I had this problem; applied the debug flag but that didn't fix it. Ameliorated, but not completely stopped. As it wasn't a biggy, I shifted to swing. I may have to get to FX again as I expand what I need gstream to do.
Bonne chance, and keep in touch if you want to.

Hi,

Assuming you use JavaFx (System.setProperty("org.graphstream.ui", "javafx");) , just add

System.setProperty("org.graphstream.debug","true");

before calling new Singlegraph()

and everything will be ok. It is required on some systems to allow time for the interface to be created, otherwise it generates a bug.

See FxViewer.class line 215 if you wanna understand it precisely.

I agree it should be added in the tutorial, or corrected.

Best wishes.

Cédric.

Hi Frederic

Sorry, your mail hid in my spam folder :) didn't see it until now.

This tutorial with A, B and C nodes.

It seems I am not the only one, there is another person reporting the same error so he created his own Scene to work around it.

I tried with java 8 to 16, and same exception is thrown when running graph.display();

kind regards
