Step event in the dgs file format

Hello,

I am using the dgs file format to load and save graphs. I read about step events and want to use it to change node attributes on a specific step. How would i go about it? I added it into the dgs file but it didn't work. What extra steps do i have to do?

Here is the documentation about the dgs file system but i didn't understood how to use the "st float" entry.
