Dear Neil,
I am not part of the GraphStream dev team, so maybe they will correct
my statement, but as far as I know, in GraphStream there is no way to
select an edge.
An edge does not have any event trigger attached.
You can do a trick, like I did, if you don't work with Multigraphs: you
select two nodes and you suppose that the user selects the direct edge
between them.
