Hello,

Thank you from all the team for your mail.
It is really important for us to have feedback about GraphStream to understand what users need and to improve the library.

Following is just a few answer/remark about (2) and (5).

(2) About the "tutorials", the new GS website aims to provide tutorials for many things in gs, but
the site is online since a few time and we still have to write them !
However, a tutorial about "Creating a movie" is available :
Creating movie can be done since a few time, so all feedbacks about the tutorial or the sink are welcome !
If some features are missingin the FileSinkImages, I will be delighted to add them if possible.

(5) About "Pajek format", the GraphStream architecture aims to provide an easy way to create new "Source" or "Sink", so I think
that it could be possible to add such import. We have to study this format and if it is possible we can add a new "PajekSource".

Hope this help,
Guilhelm

Subject: feedback
Hello,

this is a list of feedback on issues/feature suggestions for making
life easier for the gs user which I have encountered after my first
day of use. From what I have seen at the ECCS'10, gs has the potential
for becoming a standard tool for the visualization of evolving
networks, and the developers have done excellent work so far. Note: My
background is in maths/physics, my work is on social network analysis
(so I don't know anything about biological or other networks), and I
have no experience with Java.

1) Real time...
2) More tutorials...

3) Relation types...

4) A "sloppy" option...

5) Pajek format...

I would love to use gs to create some videos with my data, but at the
current development stage it seems I would have to spend too much time
trying to find out how things work in gs and java, and writing
hacks/workarounds. But maybe in the near future! :)

Cheers,
Michael
